Testimonials

Mrs. Alena has been the saving grace for my child. He is in 3rd grade but reading at kindergarten/first grade level. The school was not giving him the extra help he truly needed. As soon as I reached out to her I knew she was exactly what he needed. He actually has love for reading now. He used to never want to look at a book. Now he loves it!! I can not accurately express my gratitude for all the help she has given my son. I don't know what we would have done if it weren't for her. I struggled getting him on an iEP for his reading disability at the school. However, everything with Alena is so easy. She explains his progress and her plans for him thoroughly. She is amazing and worth every penny!!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 💗.

- Mother of a 3rd grade boy

Alena has been a tremendous help to our family. In her sessions with my sophomore son, she worked to support his organizational, executive functioning and planning skills. She had effective tools and a calming communication style that was supportive and positive. She is organized, efficient and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend her and will keep her contact in my toolbox in case we need her help again!

I highly recommend southern Oregon EmpowerED. My daughter was really struggling in reading. With Alena’s highly effective teaching methods she was able to gain the key concepts she was missing in a short timeframe. I would 100 percent recommend her to any of the kids that are struggling.
