I provide consulting services to homeschool, private school, and alternative school parents looking for:
-
Guidance on curriculum selection
-
Recommendations for intervention
-
A learning profile assessment
-
Helpful instructional strategies and supports

Consultations typically begin with a session or two in which I use a variety of curriculum based measures to assess your child and determine their strengths and weaknesses as a learner. From there, we can discuss next steps for making your child an empowered learner.
Educational Consulting
Special Education Advocacy
If your child attends public school and is in Special Education, I offer support for families looking to better understand the system and to ensure that their child is receiving certain accommodations and services in school as outlined in their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). I also help families new to the system be able to successfully navigate it and ensure the school is meeting their child's needs. Advocacy may include:

-
Recommendations for accommodations and services
-
Attendance at IEP/504 meetings
-
Communication with school faculty, including but not limited to, the child's teacher(s), special education teacher and principal
-
Interpreting evaluation reports
-
Helping to draft measurable IEP goals to track student progress

The Process
Your child will exit my educational therapy services feeling empowered.
That feeling of empowerment will resonate throughout the family as well.
I invite you to think of my approach as a wave.
In our work together, your child and I will build momentum across the following five domains:
self-awareness, motivation, knowledge + skills, persistence + resilience, and confidence + independence
in pursuit of reaching our goal of empowerment.
Power is how quickly energy is transferred. The more work put into the five domains over time,
the larger the wave and the feeling of empowerment will be.
Em(Power) = Work
